MIDN 1/C Reshmi Ketelsen
Hi, my name is Reshmi Ketelsen and I'm from Tennessee. I'm pursuing a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing soccer, and going on hikes. I have been on multiple summer cruises throughout my time in NROTC. My first cruise was the summer before my freshman year, when I attended New Student Indoctrination (NSI), at Great Lakes NSTC. This taught me the basics of military bearing and how the Navy operates. My next cruise was a Surface Warfare cruise during the summer before my junior year. I was sent to the USS Gunston Hall where I got a great opportunity to meet enlisted and officer personnel who worked on the ship. My most recent cruise was an aviation cruise, where I was sent to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL, to shadow pilots and get a glimpse of their daily life. I plan on becoming a future Naval Aviator and pursuing my passion for aviation.
