Science and researchers played a starring role in this year's Carnival.

Carnegie Mellon University celebrated Spring Carnival with a "Hollywood" theme, giving homage to movies and film. The Mellon College of Science and the Carnegie Mellon community participated in blockbuster events like Douse-a-Dean (which supports Special Olympics of Pennsylvania), Booth, Buggy, social events and the installment of Glen de Vries Dean Barbara Shinn-Cunningham. The 2025 class of Tartans on the Rise were in the limelight as they were recognized by the community. Shinn-Cunningham dressed up as a whole galaxy to represent the number of stars in the Mellon College of Science. Check out the highlights from the 2025 Spring Carnival.
