Bio

Corinne Branquet was born and raised in France and moved to Pittsburgh 22 years ago to follow her husband David who was finishing his PHD at CMU. The plan was to stay for 2 years, but quickly Pittsburgh became home. Corinne and David have 2 children, Juliette (18) starts college at Carlow University this Fall and Felix (15) is a sophomore at Alderdice High School. They both attended The Children’s School at CMU.

Corinne has a bachelor's degree in social work and certifications in mental health and gerontology. She is now finishing her teaching certification at CCAC. During her children’s preschool experience at the Children’s School, Corinne volunteered doing French lessons with the children. That experience sparked her interest for early childhood education. Since then she has worked in the field as an assistant teacher, teacher and lead teacher at different schools in Pittsburgh.

Corinne also has a passion for hair design and has been a stylist for more than 20 years. She adores outdoor activities like walking, biking, camping and exploring new places.
