Bio
Anne O'Neill, a Pittsburgh native, has worked as an educator at Children's School for 9 years after a decade of teaching experience in Chicago. Anne is passionate about supporting children in developing language and early literacy abilities. Anne, and her husband Sean, have a daughter named Quinn and a son named James. Anne feels fortunate to see the world through the lens of both educator and parent. She infuses this special view into her teaching practice each day. Anne holds a master’s degree in education from DePaul University, and has additional teaching certificates in Early Childhood Education and English Language Learning. Prior to her focus on teaching, Anne earned a bachelor's degree in sociology/anthropology from Ohio Wesleyan University. She also dedicated a year of service at a social service center with Americorps.
In her spare time, Anne enjoys reading and singing with Quinn, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors with her family.
