Bio

Navjeet Randhawa did her master’s and doctorate in physical education in India. She taught and trained the students, leading to their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physical education at a premier State College in India for 20 years.  She moved to the US in 2007 with her family. She worked as substitute teacher in the Youngstown, Ohio city schools for one year. In Pittsburgh, she assisted in teaching a Health and Wellness course at University of Pittsburgh in summer 2010. After that she taught at the Carriage House Children’s Center for 13 years. Navjeet is excited for her first-year teaching at the Children’s School.

Navjeet’s husband is a mechanical engineer and a project manager with a local power and water solutions company. They have two children. Her son is a computer and electrical engineer and lives in Chicago with his wife, and her daughter has a business and marketing degree and is working with Federated Hermes in downtown Pittsburgh. Navjeet enjoys spending time with her family, cooking Indian food, gardening, working out at gym, and hiking trails on the weekends.
