Bio

Kim Yetter first started working at the Children's School as a student teacher in 2003 when she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education at Duquesne University. After graduation, she moved to Richmond, Virginia and later St. Louis, Missouri. Over the years, Kim has taught preschool, first, second, and fourth grades. In 2007, she received her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership with a focus in school administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience providing school and district wide professional development and serving as a mentor to new teachers. Since 2018, Kim has been delighted to be back at the Children's School where her career first began! She currently works in administration at the Children’s School with a focus on admissions and family involvement.

Kim, her husband Brandon, and their two boys, Everett (12) and Nolan (8), love to go hiking, biking, and outdoor adventuring whenever they can! In her free time, Kim loves perusing a good used book store and trying new restaurants.
