Coordinator, Student Involvement and Traditions

I started at CMU in 2022

I serve as the primary advisor to several student organizations (e.g. Student Senate, Spring Carnival Committee) that focus on improving and creating a memorable CMU experience for all. I also develop large-scale traditional programs, working closely with staff colleagues and student leaders to build community and celebrate Tartan Pride.

During my term, I would like to see Staff Council continue to provide opportunities that foster a sense of inclusion, highlighting the value in building networks between staff. I’d use my years of event planning and volunteer management to support these.

I’m already involved with the Green Practices Committee and am interested in further supporting environmental advocacy efforts of Staff Council; it’s vital to continue evaluating our offices and events, identifying ways to make our workplace more environmentally conscious.
