Pittsburgh Execs to Coach Entrepreneurs on Marketing

Pittsburgh-based advertising agency Marc USA said it is partnering with Innovation Works for the upcoming Marketing Sparks program, scheduled for Thursday.

Marketing Sparks, which debuted two years ago, pairs entrepreneurs with senior marketers. The sessions aim to help entrepreneurs more clearly define their key audiences and value propositions and to develop marketing plans.

Five startups funded through Innovation Works are to participate in the three-hour program, to be held at Nova Place.

The companies are: ViaHero, Digital Dream Labs, RE2 Robotics, SolePower and AbiliLife.

More than 20 marketing coaches have signed on to work with the entrepreneurs, from companies including Allegheny Health Network, Covestro, Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, F.N.B. Corp., Giant Eagle, Highmark, Luxottica/Lens Crafters, Mylan NV, Philips, PNC Financial Services Group Inc. and PPG Industries Inc., as well as Marc. Read More»
