SWARTZ ENTREPRENEURIAL FELLOWS PROGRAM

Applications are being accepted for the Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellows Program, an initiative that fast-tracks the careers of CMU's graduate students who are passionate about entrepreneurship in the technology arena.

This highly-selective program develops each Fellow’s entrepreneurial potential and leadership skills through hands-on experiences, networking, mentoring and courses in entrepreneurship. The program's core is a mentored summer internship with a top-tier, VC-backed startup within the high-tech, high-growth environment in the Bay Area.

Apply by August 26, 2016.

INNOVATION FELLOWS PROGRAM

The CMU CIE's Innovation Fellows Program helps to accelerate the process of commercializing university research. It aims to foster entrepreneurship among graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and young faculty—the research personnel who work directly with faculty investigators to conduct scientific experiments, solve problems and innovate. Selected fellows receive a $50K contribution from the CIE. Apply by July 30, 2016.

FULL-STACK DEVELOPER NEEDED FOR RACE CAR ANALYTICS STARTUP

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR EARLY-STAGE VENTURES

The Village Capital Health: US 2016 program, in partnership with the Kresge Foundation, is seeking applications from early-stage ventures with digital solutions to health problems frequently affiliated with low-income patients. This 12-day, three-month program will support entrepreneurs with an award-winning curriculum, mentorship from sector leaders and will foster engagement with potential strategic partners and investors.

At the end of the program, the top two ventures ranked highest by their peers will receive a $75K investment from VilCap Investments.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. The final deadline to apply is August 1, 2016.
