The inaugural episode of the Dietrich College's podcast series, "On Humanity" features Lori Holt and Barbara-Shinn Cunningham, who talk about their work in auditory neuroscience. In the three-part episode, they discuss their work to understand language learning and the “cocktail party problem.” They both reveal unexpected paths to the field of psychology and a diverse set of interests, from travel to competitive saber fencing.
This episode will be the first in a monthly series of podcasts in which Bess Family Dean Richard Sheines interviews Dietrich College faculty members and researchers who are pioneers in their fields, taking on some of society's most pressing challenges.
