Ready, Set, Move-In!

Carnegie Mellon University is thrilled to welcome the class of 2023+ to Pittsburgh. Move-In Day 2019 marks the start of Orientation week, with orientation counselors, resident assistants and university volunteers stationed throughout campus to help families move incoming students into CMU’s residence halls. It's our way of saying welcome to the family! After settling in, first-year students become part of the Carnegie Mellon community through Orientation traditions like Convocation, Playfair and House Wars.

Students cheer and dance their way onto Carnegie Mellon University’s Pittsburgh campus during Move-In Day on Saturday, Aug. 17.
