Dear Staff and Faculty,
As we head into the Labor Day weekend, I want to thank all 5,700 of you for your dedication and hard work on behalf of this university.
CMU is a vibrant, creative and supportive place to live, learn, work and play because of you. To the staff who keep our campuses safe and beautiful, and provide essential programs and services every day: thank you for your teamwork and commitment to excellence. To the faculty who deliver an outstanding educational experience for our students, and who constantly strive to offer cutting-edge research and inspiring performances: thank you for your passion and persistence.
The entire leadership team and I appreciate the work you do to make Carnegie Mellon a world-class institution and a welcoming community. I look forward to expressing my continued gratitude throughout the year, including at our Andy Awards celebration on October 4th.
