SIO Access Information
Incoming Undergraduate Students
For students enrolling in the fall semester, your student record in SIO should be active after May Commencement (see Academic Calendar). If you are unable to log in after this date, please contact The HUB.
Incoming Graduate Students
If you are an incoming graduate student and are unable to log in to SIO, please contact The HUB.
Visiting/Non-Degree Students
Please allow 3-5 business days after submitting your petition to The HUB for your student record to be activated within SIO. You should receive an email from the University Registrar's Office stating that you are able to log into SIO. If 5 business days have passed and you are still unable to log in to SIO, please contact The HUB. For more information about the visiting/non-degree student process, visit The HUB website.
Former Students/Alumni
After leaving the university, your student email account will remain active for up to 90 days. You will be sent an email notification prior to the termination of your account. If you believe your account suspension notification was sent in error, please contact The HUB immediately. If The HUB cannot determine the reason for your account suspension notice, please contact the Computing Services Help Center at 412-268-HELP or it-help@cmu.edu.
