Carnegie Mellon Prison Education Project

The Carnegie Mellon Prison Education Project, using The Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program model, offers courses that bring campus-based students and incarcerated students together for semester-long, full-credit courses held in prison. These classes are small by design and enable incarcerated and non-incarcerated students to come together as equals in a collaborative learning environment.
