Billing, Payments & Refunds FAQs

If your question is not answered below, please contact The HUB at thehub@andrew.cmu.edu

Fall invoices will be produced November 30 and accessible in SIO December 1.
The spring semester balance is due January 15, 2021.

Recognizing that many students and families have experienced financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 disruptions, The HUB intends to be flexible in matters related to spring 2021 student account balances.

Students and families who are experiencing difficulties with making on-time account payments should discuss their situation with their HUB liaison. To help make payments more manageable, we recommend taking advantage of the monthly tuition payment plan.

If a housing charge is not on your spring invoice (accessible in SIO December 1), either we have assumed or you have confirmed that you will not be living on campus. Please direct any housing questions and concerns to Housing Services

If you continue to feel that your invoice does not properly represent your housing election for spring 2021, please contact your HUB liaison.

Additionally, spring 2021 campus residents are encouraged to view a listing of frequently asked questions on the Housing website

The university will charge a Transportation Fee to all students expected to be in Pittsburgh until we have confirmation of their plans to be studying remotely from another location. Once we receive confirmation, through SIO, then the fee will be removed from the student account.

It is the university's plan to maintain continuity of services throughout the spring 2021 semester. Changes to operations as a result of changing COVID conditions will be promptly communicated to students and families.
