Meet Your Temporary Staffing Needs with TES

The Temporary Employment Service (TES) team is responsible for helping departments across campus meet their temporary staffing needs by connecting them with highly trained and qualified candidates. TES works collaboratively with hiring managers to understand their needs and match those needs with temporary employees.

Hiring managers can call on TES to temporarily fill employment gaps for both planned or unplanned leaves of absence, position vacancies, departmental changes, short-term or long-term projects and new positions. TES employees typically provide support for administrative roles (reception through executive level), event support, finance/accounting and more. In the current fiscal year, the TES team has received more than 70 requests for support, and there are over 40 TES employees on active assignment.

Not only does the TES team source candidates, but they also support and help TES employees prepare for their assignments, including onboarding and coaching. Additionally, the TES team supports employees after they complete assignments by connecting them with new assignments or helping them to find more permanent roles throughout the university. To date, over 50% of TES employees have transitioned into permanent positions.
