Election Day — Nov. 8

CMU is committed to supporting voting and civic engagement in the upcoming election cycle. Supervisors should be flexible with work schedules on Election Day to ensure all members of the CMU community can take the time they need to vote. For those planning to vote in person, employees are encouraged to work with their supervisors for arrive late or leave early as needed.

For those wishing to volunteer at the polls in service of the community at large, eligible employees can leverage Paid Time Off. Of course, as with any requested time off, employees should consider their work responsibilities and coordinate with their supervisor as needed before submitting their request via Workday.
