Employee Information Review by December 20, 2021
In preparation for the issuance of 2021 W-2 forms, the Office of Human Resources is requesting that employees verify that their personal information in Workday is accurate. Please log in to Workday and review or update the following information prior to December 22, 2021:
- Legal Name: Reference the Change Legal Name in Workday System Guide [pdf] for instructions.
- Primary Address: Reference the Update Contact Information System Guide [pdf] for instructions.
- Social Security Number: Reference the Change My Government IDs System Guide [pdf] for instructions.
W-4 Tax Elections Review by Friday, December 10, 2021
Please review your tax elections to ensure that the proper withholdings are being applied to your pay. Your current tax withholding elections are displayed on your payslip. Refer to the Electronic Tax Forms (W4 and Multi-State) System Guide [pdf] for instructions on how to update your tax elections. All tax election changes must be completed in Workday no later than December 10, 2021 to be effective for your last 2021 pay check dated December 22, 2021.
Reminder to Employees Claiming Exempt Status on Their W-4
If you are currently claiming exempt from federal withholding on your W-4, you must submit a new W-4 beginning January 1, 2022, but no later than February 14, 2022. Failure to submit a new W-4 will cause you to lose your exempt status.
