Development Program Guide: A New Learning Resource

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce that we are developing a new learning resource for CMU staff and faculty. The Development Program Guide is a curated collection of learning modules, organized by role/topic area. Virtual courses, learning programs and videos are drawn from the university’s relationships with FocusU (Skillsoft) and LinkedIn Learning, as well as other partners including Vibrant Pittsburgh.

While the guide is a work in progress, users can now explore resources on the topic of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). These resources align with President Jahanian's July 2, 2020 announcement [pdf] on strategic actions to confront racism and promote equity and inclusion in our campus community. The resources provided in this guide fulfill the action to ensure staff and faculty have access to DEI resources. OHR continues to work with our Learning and Organizational Development Team and campus partners to vet resources on additional topics, including Recruitment and Search Training, Staff Supervisor Training and Team Development. Users who have feedback on the site, resources and planned topics are encouraged to contact hrcommunications@andrew.cmu.edu.
