COVID-19: Preparing to Return to In-Person Operations

As CMU prepares for a phased return to campus, the university remains committed to maintain the health, safety and welfare of its faculty and staff. Eligible employees can take advantage of the following resources:

  • COVID-19 Time Off provides eligible employees with up to 10 paid days of time off, without first exhausting either PTO or Emergency Time Off.
  • Reasonable Accommodations are available to eligible employees who, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, require workplace accommodations to enable them to perform the essential functions of their job, unless doing so would create an undue hardship.
Please note that anyone returning to on-site work must first receive university approval. View Coronavirus News for all the resources available to employees, including updates to CMU benefit plans, temporary amendments to the Paid Time Off Policy, and employee and family assistance programs.
