Amanda advises all primary and additional majors in Economics & Statistics and Statistics minors.

How long have you been at CMU and how did you get here?

I’ve been at CMU off and on since 2004!  I am a 2 time CMU grad (BS in CEE ‘08, MS in CEE ‘09) and have been back as a staff member since 2016. 

What activities/hobbies do you like to do outside of work and/or what do you like to do to de-stress or unwind after a busy day? 

I love to go walking, hiking, or splashing about in local parks with my preschooler.  Our favorites in the city are Frick and Highland.

What is a recommendation for a fun thing you like doing in Pittsburgh? 

I also love the Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History just down the street from campus - wonderful paces to explore when it’s raining.
