Progression through Course

How can I check that I’ve completed all of the required coursework?

You can view your scores and progress by visiting My Scores in the C@CM Online Learning Initiative (OLI) course. If all of the blue bars are fully populated, you will know you've completed all of the required coursework.

In the example below, the student has completed all assignments in Modules 11, 12, and 15.  The student has completed some assignments in Modules 13 and 14, but none in Module 16.

If you believe you have completed a module but the blue progress bar is not full, try clicking one of the Collapse All buttons.

Do I have to complete all of the activities in the module to receive credit or just the Pre-Assessments and Exam-Readiness Quizzes?

You should complete all of the Did I Get This? and Learn by Doing learning activities found within the course's OLI exposition in addition to the Pre-Assessments and Exam-Readiness Quizzes.  For more information about the weight given to each assignment, please review the Grading Policy.

Is there a way to confirm the work that I have done in the course?

I'm having trouble getting my progress bar to be filled up, even though I have completed all the activities and looked through all the pages. When I click on available practice, it shows me gray circles, meaning that I have worked on it. How can I fix this problem?

If you believe you have completed a module but the blue progress bar is not full, try clicking one of the Collapse All buttons.

Is the blue progress bar only found when you launch Online Learning Initiative (OLI) or is it in Canvas as well? I am having trouble finding the page with the blue progress bars.

Yes. The blue progress bar can only be found in OLI.  You can access the progress bar by visiting My Scores in the C@CM Online Learning Initiative (OLI) course.

Do the blue bars represent my grades?

The blue progress bar in Online Learning Initiative (OLI) is a visual interpretation of a student's completion of each module, as well as the whole of the course. Some bars represent Pre-Assessments (the first bar in units 2-5 will represent a Pre-Assessment), while others represent the required learning activities (Did I Get This? Learn By Doing).  Exam-Readiness Quizzes and the Final Exam will be shown as an actual score instead of a bar.

In the example below, the student has completed all assignments in Modules 11 (the Pre-Assessment), 12, and 15.  The student has completed some assignments in Modules 13 and 14, but none in Module 16.
