Entropy Project Overview Presented at Tepper's 75th Anniversary Academic Symposium
At the Academic Symposium celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Tepper School's founding, lab co-director Prof. Gaoqing Zhang presented the graph-based research on March 22 titled "Measuring Information of Accounting Structure: an Informatio-theoretic Graph-based Approach". The presentation was preceeded by two presentations by Tepper PhD alum Chandra Kanodia of University of Minnesota and Tepper PhD Professor Edwige Cheynel Wu Columbia Business School respectively.
This event celebrated Tepper School's rich intellectual history, groundbreaking research, and visionary future. This milestone event brought together current and former faculty, distinguished Ph.D. alumni, industry leaders, and students to reflect on our legacy and envision the future of business research and practice.
Highlights included honoring Nobel Laureate and former Tepper School affiliate Thomas Sargent, engaging with thought leaders like Dean Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, and attending breakout sessions showcasing research from current and past Tepper faculty and Ph.D. alumni.
