E. Orhun Gün is a Ph.D. student in Financial Economics at Carnegie Mellon University. Trained in mechanical engineering and in finance and international management across Boğaziçi University, the London School of Economics, HEC Paris, and Nova SBE, he studies how accounting data and AI can enhance financial decision-making. He enjoys applying engineering frameworks to analytical and investment problems. Outside research, he lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and their two dogs.
