Nelnet Plan Set-Up Reminders
- Any individual paying on behalf of the student must first be set up as an Authorized Payer by the student. Authorized Payers will then receive emailed instructions on how to set up a payment plan for you.
- Please enter only the prefix of the student’s Carnegie Mellon email address when creating a new account (lowercase letters only). Example: andrewc2

Open enrollment for the spring 2025 semester begins December 1, 2024. To determine your desired plan balance, you may use your November 30 student account invoice. The down payment and enrollment fee are due at the time of enrollment.
