You’re Invited: Staff Picnic is May 20

Staff Picnic InvitePresident Subra Suresh and Provost-Designate Farnam Jahanian invite all CMU staff to the annual Staff Picnic to celebrate the end of another successful academic year at CMU.

Wednesday, May 20
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: Wiegand Gym and Rangos Hall, Cohon University Center

Transportation From Off-Campus Locations

Transportation to and from the picnic will be available to staff at off-campus locations. CMU Shuttle Service will be available using a combination of regular and enhanced shuttle routes, as noted below:

Entertainment Technology Center, 700 Technology Drive

PTC Shuttle standard routes:

Departs to Morewood Gardens
11:15 a.m.
12:15 p.m.

Returns from Morewood Gardens
12:45 p.m.
1:45 p.m.
2:45 p.m.

Mellon Institute, Software Engineering Institute and Whitfield Hall

University “A” Shuttle standard routes:

From Forbes and Craig: approx. 10:46 a.m.
From Dithridge and Winthrop: approx. 10:47 a.m.
From Dithridge and Bayard: approx. 10:48 a.m.

The shuttle arrives at Morewood Gardens shortly after 11 a.m.; guests arriving on this shuttle are welcome to proceed directly to the picnic.

University “AB” shuttle standard routes (stops at same Oakland locations as the “A” shuttle):

Returns from Morewood Gardens:
12 p.m.
12:45 p.m.

Bakery Square Shuttle:

Shortly after 11 a.m. from the 6555 parking lot to the escort stop on Forbes Avenue in front of the Cohon University Center.
(Please be in the 6555 Parking Lot at 11 a.m.)

Returns from the escort stop on Forbes Avenue in front of the Cohon University Center at:
12:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m.

Departs: 11:15 a.m. from 3rd Avenue to Morewood Gardens.
Returns: 1:15 p.m. from Morewood Gardens to PPG.
