Staff Picnic is Wednesday, May 23

Annual Event Recognizes Staff Contributions to the University

PicnicCarnegie Mellon President Jared L. Cohon and Provost and Executive Vice President Mark Kamlet invite you to the 2012 Staff Picnic, 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 23 in the University Center’s Wiegand Gym and Rangos Hall. The picnic is held annually in recognition of the important contributions staff make to the university.

Picnic-goers must present a valid Carnegie Mellon Staff ID.

The CMU Shuttle Service will provide transportation for staff located in off-campus locations.

Here’s the shuttle schedule:

From the Entertainment Technology Center, 700 Technology Drive

Departs to Morewood Gardens: 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Returns from Morewood Gardens: 12:45 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

From the Mellon Institute, Software Engineering Institute and Whitfield Hall

From Forbes and Craig: approximately 10:46 a.m.
From Dithridge and Winthrop: approximately 10:47 a.m.
From Dithridge and Bayard: approximately 10:48 a.m.

The shuttle arrives at Morewood Gardens shortly after 11 a.m.*
*Guests arriving on this shuttle are welcome to proceed directly to the picnic, as it will be open for your arrival.

Returns from Morewood Gardens: 12 p.m., 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

From the National Robotics Engineering Consortium, Ten 40th Street, Lawrenceville

Departs:  11:15 a.m. to the University Center Circle.
Returns:  1 p.m. from the University Center Circle.

From 6555 Penn Avenue
Bakery Square Shuttle

Departs: shortly after 11 a.m. from the Penn Avenue parking lot to the University Center Circle. (Please be in the 6555 Parking Lot at 11 a.m.)
Returns from the University Center Circle: 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.

From PPG Building 6

Departs:  11:15 a.m. from 3rd Avenue to the University Center Circle. 
Returns:  1:15 p.m. from the University Center Circle to PPG.
