Media Advisory: Carnegie Mellon Information Networking Institute Hosts "Lean In: A C-Level Perspective From Women In Technology" Panel

Event: "Lean In: A C-Level Perspective from Women in Technology" is the title of a panel discussion sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University's Information Networking Institute (INI) and Women at INI (WINI) student organization.

INI Director Dena Haritos Tsamitis will moderate a panel of distinguished executives in information security, privacy and risk management, who will share their personal and professional perspectives on their ascent to a senior-level role. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to interact with these leaders and engage in the conversation.

Panelists include:
  • Joyce Brocaglia, chief executive officer at Alta Associates and founder of the Executive Women's Forum;
  • Michelle Dennedy, chief privacy officer at McAfee; and
  • Holly Ridgeway, chief information security officer at PNC Financial Services Group. 
The event, which is free and open to the CMU community, is inspired by "Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead," a bestseller by Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg. Registration for this event is recommended but not required. Register online at http://tinyurl.com/n5worjq.
