News Brief: School of Music Student Debuts on NBC's "The Sing-Off"

School of Music freshman Ethan Crystal's dream of singing in front of a national audience will become a reality when he debuts on NBC's "The Sing-Off" at 8 p.m. (EST), Monday, Sept. 26.

Crystal's high school a cappella group, Soul'd Out, will compete against 15 teams for a Sony Music recording contract and $200,000. Celebrity judges include Ben Folds of Ben Folds Five, Sara Bareilles and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men. Nick Lachey of pop band 98 Degrees hosts the show.
