Recent Summer Internships
Students in the program have built out their career experience by securing summer internships that have taken them around the world. In the last two years, students have participated in summer internships at companies and other institutions. Additionally, we have 5-10 students per year doing research in labs in the Biological Sciences and Computational Biology Departments and some students also find relevant work with professors in Statistics, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, and other deptartments as well. Internships and research over the summer at Carnegie Mellon are typically paid.
