How to Report Phish using PhishAlarm for Google Mail

The PhishAlarm Report Phish Google Mail Add-in allows for the reporting of potential phishing email messages with the click of a button.  Follow the directions below on how to report suspicious messages using the PhishAlarm Report Phish button.

  1. Open the suspected phishing message
  2. Click the PhishAlarm button located on the right-side panel of the Google Mail website. Note: the right-side panel is hidden by default in some web browsers. If so, there will be a small button visible on the right side of the webpage when scrolling. Click this button to expand the panel. 
  3. You will receive a confirmation message. Click Report Phish

  4. After the message has been reported, you will see a PhishAlarm verification message thanking you for your report

  5. A ticket will be created regarding the submitted Potential Phish
