Senior Academic Advisor, Information Systems
Correy Dandoy, with a passion for higher education and college student development, earned her Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Slippery Rock University in 2013. Prior to graduate school, Correy worked in the field of public relations for over three years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C.
Correy joined Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, and worked for over four years as an undergraduate advisor and program coordinator in the Department of Philosophy. She joined the Information Systems advising team in December 2019 and is so happy to get to work serving IS students!
When not working, Correy is usually going on adventures with her husband, Justin, and their daughter, Cecilia. They’re often found outdoors (when the weather allows), or at one of their favorite Pittsburgh spots, like the National Aviary or the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
