Bio

Jessica comes to IS after previously serving as an academic advisor with TRIO Student Support Services at the University of Pittsburgh for four years. Jessica attended Temple University, where she studied abroad in London before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, and then continued on to Kansas State University, where she earned her Master of Science in Academic Advising.

Jessica was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs and lives in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh with her husband Mack and their dog, Pippa. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys listening to all kinds of music, tending to her dozens of houseplants, writing creative nonfiction, knitting sweaters that don’t fit very well, and reading. She is excited to be a part of the program and can’t wait to get to know you!
