The HUB to go Cashless Beginning July 1

Beginning July 1, The HUB will permanently suspend all cash payments. For the past 15 months, The HUB temporarily halted accepting cash payments for tuition, fees and service-related charges due to the logistics surrounding the service center’s physical closure and as a safety measure for the campus community and HUB staff.

The stoppage of accepting cash payments resulted in reduced risk and mishandling of funds, creating an environment of increased security and accuracy. Additionally, the number of cash payments being accepted in The HUB has decreased year after year due to the availability of other safe and easy-to-use payment options, such as Flywire for international students and online banking for those with a U.S. checking or savings account.

To ensure you are prepared to make your student account payments on time, we encourage you to check out all of The HUB’s available payment options well before fall balances are due on August 15.

Questions about payments may be directed to thehub@andrew.cmu.edu
