Health Insurance Waivers & Charges

In response to COVID-19, University Health Services is requiring all eligible Pittsburgh students to complete the health insurance waiver twice for the 2020-2021 academic year. Waivers may be accessed via your SIO Health Insurance page under the Campus Life tab. The deadline to submit a waiver is Feb. 15, 2021. 

Once your waiver is approved, please allow 2-3 business weeks for charges to be removed from your student account.

Transportation Fee for Spring 2021

If a transportation fee appears on your spring invoice and you will not be in the Pittsburgh area for the spring 2021 semester, please be assured the fee will be removed from your invoice after Jan. 4, 2021.

Beginning Jan. 4, be sure to answer the survey questions appearing on your SIO pages. Doing so, will ensure we have the most up-to-date location information for you for the spring semester.
