Reminders for Student Account & Spring Registration Week

Check Your Student Account

Prior to the start of spring 2022 registration next week, check your student account in Student Information Online (SIO) to make sure your balance is paid in full. Payment options may be found on the Student Financial Services website. The HUB team is available to provide support so you can experience a seamless registration process and register for courses without interruption.

Health Insurance Charge

It is our understanding that University Health Services has completed their review of any health insurance waivers submitted. For students whose waivers were denied and students who took no further action regarding health insurance, the health insurance charge appearing on your student account will need to be settled in order for your account balance to be paid in full and for you to be permitted to register for spring courses. Please note that while The HUB wants to ensure awareness regarding the charge, questions or concerns about health insurance and related charges should be directed to shinsure@andrew.cmu.edu.

Departmental/Payroll Supported Students

If you are supported through departmental payroll, be sure to check your student account in SIO to make sure your balance has been paid in full prior to registering for spring courses. While your department supports tuition, some fees, and half of the health insurance charge (if applicable), you are responsible for paying any outstanding charges that remain. To calculate the amount that needs to be paid, we recommend subtracting any expected payroll amounts from your balance due.

If you have any general questions or concerns about resolving your balance, please reach out to your HUB liaison.
