Wireless Charging Mats May Damage Cards

There have been minimal reports of ID Cards overheating or melting when placed on wireless mobile charging mats. We advise keeping your ID Card in a separate location from your cell phone or laptop at all times (including the removal of cell phone attachable card holders). Card holders whose ID Cards become damaged as a result of overheating or melting due to wireless charging mats (or proximity to cellphones/laptops) will be required to pay for a replacement card. If you have a similar concern to report, please contact The HUB so that we are able to monitor these occurrences.
