Our plans provide benefits to local employees serving in international locations, as well as their spouses/domestic partners and dependent children. Host country employment law governs the benefits available to our local employees, and benefits may differ based on location. Contact your local HR Manager or Business Manager for details about the benefits applicable to your situation.

Medical Benefits:

CIGNA Global Health Benefits Plan administers international health benefits, including medical insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental insurance, vision insurance and employee assistance plan. CIGNA is only offered if you are not a citizen of the country in which you are working. 

For faculty and staff in Qatar, the InterGlobal health plan is also available. (The InterGlobal plan has two options available—one that includes non-emergency care in the United States, and one that does not.)

For faculty and staff in Rwanda, the UAP health plan is available.
