MSE Undergraduate Program Ranked in Top Ten

The U S News & World Report released their rankings for Undergraduate Programs for 2020. The College of Engineering is ranked again at #6 and the university's overall rank remains #25.  CIT is tied in the sixth position with Michigan and Illinois, as we have been before, and they remain our closest competitors.
 
In addition, individual engineering departments made gains in ranks; in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science & Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. MSE has moved back into the Top 10 position! Five of the CIT undergraduate programs are now in the Top 10 ranking. Below are the rankings for the individual programs:
 
College of Engineering -  6 (same as last year)
Biomedical Engineering - 22 (up from 26 last year)
Chemical Engineering - 13 (up from 14 last year)
Civil & Environmental Engineering - 12 (same as last year)
Computer Science - 2 (down from 1 last year)
Electrical & Computer Engineering - 8 (up from 9 last year)
Environmental Engineering - 9 (down from 7 last year)
Materials Science & Engineering - 10 (up from 11 last year)
Mechanical Engineering - 9 (up from 10 last year)
