3D Bioprinting Open-Source Workshop to be held at CMU

Professor Adam W. Feinberg, who is the principal investigator of the Regenerative Biomaterials and Therapeutics Group and has appointments in the departments of Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering has announced he will facilitate the 2nd 3D Bioprinting Open-Source Workshop at CMU this coming December. This will be an exciting event where people will build their own 3D bioprinter based on the open-source designs his lab has produced.

Participants will actually leave with the 3D bioprinter they build, which is identical to what Prof Feinberg uses for FRESH 3D bioprinting, including the collagen and cell printing which was recently published in Science (see attached). This will provide great hands-on training!

Dates are December 16-18. The application deadline is coming up quickly on November 1st. Due to the hands-on training we are limited to 10 teams total, so if interested please apply ASAP.
