MSE Alumna featured by Wyss Institute

MSE alumna, Youngen Kim (B.S. 2011) has been featured as a 'Women Making History at the Wyss Institute' highlighting women scientists.

The Hansjörg Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University is celebrating its brilliant women during Women's History Month (March). Youngen is currently a postdoctoral fellow there.

As an undergraduate at CMU, Youngen double majored in Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering. She was active in research with Michael E. McHenry's group, working on developing magnetic nanoparticles for thermoablative cancer therapies.
