Professor Liz Holm inducted as a 2019 Fellow of The TMS

TMS President, Kevin Hemker & Liz HolmMSE Professor Liz Holm has been inducted as a 2019 Fellow of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society. Her testimonal states: For pioneering achievements and leadership in computational materials science and Integrated Computational Materials Engineering and for distinguished service to the materials profession. The Class of Fellow is TMS’s highest honor. To be inducted, a candidate must be recognized as a leading authority and contributor to the practice of metallurgy, materials science, and technology. This includes scholarship, such as the publication of articles or books; the granting of patents; direction of important research or engineering work; and responsibility through management for nationally known improvements and developments in the field. A strong consideration is also given for outstanding service to the society.
