Rollett appointed International Fracqui Professor

MSE Professor Anthony Rollett, has been appointed International Francqui Professor. This appointment has been awarded by the board of directors of the Francqui Foundation, and implies a stay in Belgium during a six month academic term. He will be the guest lecturer and Professor Chair at Ghent University, a publich research university in Ghent, Belgium.

Prof Rollett will give an Inaugural Lesson at the beginning of the school term, along with active participation in the institutions' scientific programs, such as training, personal contacts, seminars and lectures. In addition Prof. Rollett will be involved in a final mini-symposium with the support of the Francqui Foundation.


Fondation Francqui - Stichting (Francqui Foundation) was established by President Herbert Hoover in 1932 to support higher education and research in Belgium. It was named for Emile Francqui, a Belgian serviceman, politician and business man.
