Picard recipient of the Kurt F.J. Heinrich Award

MSE’s Prof. Yoosuf Picard has been named the 2018 recipient of the Microanalysis Society's (MAS) Kurt F.J. Heinrich Award. This award honors an early career scientist within 15 years after his or her Ph.D. degree for distinguished technical contributions to the field of microanalysis.

Prof. Picard was chosen due to his excellent and sustained efforts in various materials characterization from nano scale to meso scale by various microscopy techniques as well as his dedicated service to run societies, the MAS Topical Conferences and the Microscopy and Microanalysis meetings.

The award will be presented at the 2018 Microscopy and Microanalysis meeting in Baltimore, Maryland in August of this year. listing of winners
