MSE's McHenry Group a partner on the Three-Port Transformer Research Project
Carnegie Mellon's MSE Professor Mike McHenry's group has partnered with Eaton Corp, North Carolina State University, and NASA’s Glenn Research Center on the three-port transformer research project. The project’s goal is to counter cloud cover, weather patterns, and other factors that impact the reliability of PV power. In addition, all four of these groups are partnering with the National Energy Technology Center (NETL) through CMU MSE adjunct, Paul Ohodnicki.
