Nguyen's areas of expertise include information and regulation design in public policy in the energy sector. Her research interests lie in industrial organization, health economics, and applied economic theory. Currently, Nguyen is working on two papers, "Bundling to Reduce adverse Selection: Application to Social Health Insurance," and "Information Control in the Hold-up Problem."
