Bridging Military Strategy and Innovation: The US Army War College’s Annual CMU Visit
Driven by its collaborative mission, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) opened its doors this summer to senior members of the United States Army War College (AWC) for an immersive look into CMU’s current research initiatives. This annual visit helps bridge scholarly expertise with real-world strategy, equipping military leaders with key insights to help inform solutions to pressing global issues.

CMIST Expands DC Opportunities for CMU Students
The Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy and Technology (CMIST) offers Carnegie Mellon University students the chance to spend either a full semester or a summer in Washington. Expanding on these experiential learning opportunities, CMIST is launching the Friedman Trek, a five-day DC experience that takes place over spring break. With the inaugural trip planned for this academic year, students can chart their academic journeys and identify potential career paths from as early as their first year at CMU.
