Congratulations to Armaghan “Rumi” Naik, who successfully defended his thesis entitled, “Efficient Modeling and Active Learning of Biological Responses: Learning without Prior Knowledge” on August 28. Rumi has accepted a position as a Lane Fellow in Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon. Rumi was advised by Dr. Robert F. Murphy.
