Postdoc Positions:

Funded by NIH, we are seeking highly motivated candidates who received PhD recently or in the near future to join a multidisciplinary team. The goal is to develop novel neurotechnologies that can leverage on emerging technologies such as focused ultrasound, brain-computer interface, AI, and biomedical imaging, for the purpose of elucidating the underlying mechanisms and establishing such neurotechnologies for translation to human subjects including managing brain disorders. Successful candidates are expected to have a strong quantitative background with PhD in biomedical engineering, acoustics, electrical engineering, physics, computational neuroscience, or a related field. Strong interest and demonstrated experience in experimental investigation or analyzing of biomedical or clinical data are desired. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and outstanding writing skills essential. Candidates with research expertise in any of the following areas are welcome to apply.

  • Focused ultrasound neuromodulation
  • Electrophysiological source imaging using EEG or MEG, or intracranial EEG analysis 
  • Brain-computer interface
