Carnegie Mellon Ethics Hotline-HR @ Carnegie Mellon University - Carnegie Mellon University

Carnegie Mellon Ethics Hotline

One of Carnegie Mellon's fundamental values is Integrity, "reflected in our adherence to the highest ethical standards in personal and professional behavior, and in our commitment to transparency and accountability in governance and everything we do." Further, the health, safety and well-being of the university community are top priorities at Carnegie Mellon University. Unethical behavior can result in risk to personal safety and security as well as diminished morale, financial losses and/or legal liability.

Our ethical and behavioral standards are specified in our university policies, which provide guidance on adhering to these expectations and reporting concerns.

Members of the university community have the responsibility to report unethical, illegal or irresponsible behavior through their supervisor or other appropriate university official or through the Carnegie Mellon Ethics Hotline.
